The overarching brief for this office is encapsulated in a simple phase: elevated simplicity. The 25+ year old practice decided to expand with a new office space at Pimpri’s Bramha Sky Uzuri. Each space had a backdrop of tall wall-to-wall bookshelves that serve a dual purpose. Serving not only as repositories of knowledge but have been integrated with lighting fixtures that cast a diffused radiance. An abundance of natural light permeates the office and is retained through its pristine, light painted walls and reflective designer wall tiles. A workspace that transcends time and trends that fosters a healthy environment and ensures a continued growth of a venerated advocacy practice. ‘Elevated simplicity’ not only defines the aesthetic but also embodies the practice’s dedication to clarity and precision.
Workspace Rooted in Clarity
This office interior exemplifies the ethos of ‘elevated simplicity’ through its seamless blend of functionality, natural light, and timeless design. The open-plan workstations are accentuated by linear LED fixtures and flanked by verdant planter units that bring biophilia into the everyday. Minimal yet refined, the palette of soft greys, clean whites, and warm wood textures fosters focus and calm.
At the heart of the office’s reception zone, materiality and symbolism converge to make a quiet yet compelling statement. The sculpted reception desk, with its rhythmic metal fins, reflects the firm’s modernist sensibilities while the textured stone backdrop lends a tactile warmth. The backlit emblem, grounded in classical iconography, asserts the firm's identity with dignity and restraint.
A disciplined linearity defines the shared workspace, where dual rows of ergonomic stations are arranged with judicial precision. The subdued material palette—neutral-toned laminates, herringbone wooden flooring, and monochrome accents—fosters a serene yet focused environment.
Custom-built planter troughs bring a softening green layer to the otherwise structured layout, reinforcing the firm's dedication to wellness and calm. Flanked by walls of meticulously archived legal volumes behind glass, the space speaks to both the intellectual rigor and timeless professionalism that anchors this legal practice.
Encased in curved glass partitions, the reception lounge emerges as a calm, sculpted pocket within the office layout. Framed by tropical foliage set in stone-lined planters and subtly lit from below, the entry sequence creates a layered transition between the urban bustle outside and the intellectual sanctum within.
